The human form has been interpreted in art since the very beginning. Models have always been used for figure drawing, and it’s not uncommon to have entire rooms full of artists, surrounding one model who has to sit still for hours while they do their work.

But after all these years, tasteful portrayals of the body have gotten a bit stale, and it seems like the life-drawing community is aware of this. In response, there are a few “alt model” drawing groups out there and things get really weird.

There are groups who draw people dressed as comic book characters, models in crazy costumes, weird animals, and of course, furries.
